CLEVELAND AIKIKAI INC. does not bind its students to signed financial contracts. We believe in verbal agreements based on trust and honesty. Our part of the agreement is to offer you aikido instruction of the highest quality. Your part of the agreement is to take part in the training and to pay your membership fees promptly when due without being asked. Please pay your membership fee by the 5th of each month.
Regular membership - all classes:
$85.00 - Adult monthly dues
$230.00 - Adult 3 months dues
$450.00 - Adult 6 months dues
Visitor’s mat fee - $ 10.00 per class.
Student membership* - all classes - $60.00 per month.
*Student must be a full time college or high school student.
Membership Special - all adult beginner classes:
$185.00 - Adult introductory 12 weeks
$375.00 - Adult introductory 6 months
Family membership - two or more members of the same family - all classes:
$85.00 per month
$250 for 3 Months
$500 for 6 Months
Child membership - ages 7-13 - all children’s classes:
$65.00 per month
$180.00 for Children’s 3 months
$350.00 for Children’s 6 months
$85.00 per month for two or more children from the same family
Dues Payment: All dues are payable by the first of each month. If there is a problem with payment, please speak with Jeff Hadley to discuss arrangements.
Pro-rated Dues: Students joining mid-month may pay ½ monthly dues.
Leaves of Absence: If a student finds it is necessary to suspend training for two weeks or longer, the student should advise Jim Klar and Jeff Hadley. If we are not been notified in advance, monthly dues are due and payable as usual.
Seminars: Seminars are separate from regular classes and require separate fees, which are due at or before the beginning of the seminar.
Testing for Rank: Ranks are granted through Aikido Schools of Ueshiba, Mitsugi Saotome Shihan. If a student wishes to apply for a rank, they must be a member of the ASU. Annual ASU dues are $45.00. Testing fees, which are turned over to the Aikido School of Ueshiba, are $45.00 per kyu rank.
